Regina Daniels gets new appointment in Senators’ Wives Association

Regina Daniels, the popular actress, has expressed her excitement about her new role. Taking to her Instagram page, Daniels announced her appointment as the social secretary of the 10th Senators’ Wives Association of Nigeria.

Her husband, Ned Nwoko, resumed his position as a senator on July 6 after being officially inaugurated as a Member of the 10th Senate of the National Assembly on June 13. Nwoko, representing the Anioma, Delta North people, secured his seat by defeating the incumbent senator, Peter Nwaoboshi of the APC, in the February 2023 Delta North Senatorial elections.

As a result of her husband’s victory, Regina Daniels has become a member of the Senators’ Wives Association, joining other senators’ spouses who held their inaugural meeting on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

In an update shared with her fans, the mother of two revealed that she had secured a position in the forum. Alongside a photo with other senators’ wives, she wrote, “Yesterday was the first inaugural meeting of the 10th Senator’s Wives Association of Nigeria. Hosted by our mummy, Her Excellency Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, the wife of the Senate President of Nigeria. It was a meeting focused on the growth of our country and ways in which we can assist our senators/husbands and the First Lady of the federation in serving the great people of Nigeria better.”

Daniels also shared her appointment as the social secretary of the forum and expressed her enthusiasm for contributing to the progress of Nigeria. She concluded by saying, “I look forward to a great Nigeria.”
