Actor Ugezu blasts organisers for giving Best Dressed Female to Bobrisky

Nollywood actor and movie director, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu, also known as Ugezu J. Ugezu, has reacted to the ‘Best Dressed Female’ award to renowned crossdresser, Bobrisky, at a recent movie premiere event in Lagos.

The controversial decision, which included a cash prize of N1 million, sparked debate and criticism, with Ugezu among the dissenting voices.

Reacting in a post on his instagram account, the actor wrote, “So many people have lost it. HOW CAN A MAN WIN THE PRICE FOR “THE BEST DRESSED FEMALE” IN AN EVENT ORGANIZED BY HUMAN BEINGS? Is this sincerely not a slap on the faces of our women who are working hard everyday to be the best of themselves? Sometimes, I pause and ponder, where are we headed in this country?”
