President Joe Biden has announced the successful interception of nearly all Iranian drones and missiles aimed at Israel. Additionally, he plans to gather G7 leaders on Sunday to address the attack orchestrated by Iran against Israel. Condemning the assault, Biden stated that Iran received support from its proxy factions in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.
In a statement from the White House, Biden expressed gratitude to the U.S. military for deploying aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the past week. Through these efforts and the exceptional skills of American servicemembers, the majority of incoming drones and missiles were neutralized, aiding Israel’s defense.
During a conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden reiterated America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s security. He commended Israel’s ability to repel and overcome even unprecedented attacks, sending a resolute message to adversaries that the nation’s security remains steadfast.
