Udinese striker Lorenzo Lucca found himself substituted by an irate Kosta Runjaic after defying team orders and sparking a dispute with teammates over a penalty in Friday’s 1-0 victory over Lecce.
Lucca, who netted his 10th league goal of the season, ignored the designated penalty taker, Florian Thauvin, forcefully claiming the ball before converting from the spot in the 32nd minute.
His actions, despite securing Udinese’s third win in four games, infuriated Runjaic, who swiftly withdrew him from the match, replacing him with Iker Bravo moments later.
