U-20 World Cup: Morocco’s Maamma, USA’s Cremaschi shine as full list of award winners emerges

Morocco’s Othmane Maamma and the USA’s Benjamin Cremaschi have emerged as the standout stars of the FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Chile, winning the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards, respectively.

The tournament concluded in the early hours of Monday with Morocco defeating Argentina 2-0 in the final at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos.

Two first-half goals from winger Yassir Zabiri secured Morocco’s historic victory, marking their first-ever U-20 World Cup triumph.
