2027: Why I want to represent Enone at the National Assembly — Fred Apochi
Renowned philanthropist and businessman, Hon. Alfred Fred Apochi, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat for Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Apochi, who prides himself as “Unifier of Enone,” said his aspiration is driven by a sincere desire to empower the people, promote unity and lead with integrity.
According to him, the Enone axis of Benue South needs a representative who not only understands the challenges of the people but also has the commitment and capacity to bring tangible change.
“Enone needs leadership that embodies transparency, compassion, and development-oriented service. My mission is to restore confidence in representation by empowering our people and ensuring that every community feels the impact of governance,” he said.
Apochi, who hails from the royal family of the Ochube of Ooba in Udaburu, Owukpa, previously represented Ehaje Ward II in the Ogbadibo Legislative Council, where he served as Leader of the House.
The University of Jos graduate emphasized that his experience in grassroots leadership and philanthropy has prepared him for higher legislative responsibilities aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Enone.
