Agbese celebrates Chief Mike Okibe Onoja on birthday

The member representing Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Philip Agbese, has celebrated elder statesman, Chief Mike Okibe Onoja, CON, on his birthday.

Agbese, in a birthday tribute, described Onoja as an irreplaceable elder statesman, the Akanaba K’Idoma and Agama Y’Agila, and his father and uncle.

He expressed gratitude to Onoja for his guidance, wisdom and fatherly care, saying the elder statesman had shaped his journey in profound ways.

Agbese also acknowledged Onoja’s financial support during the last election, noting that his belief in him strengthened his resolve to serve the people with dedication.

He described Onoja’s life as an example of quiet excellence, integrity and selfless service, recalling his distinguished service as Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Defence and his contributions as a businessman, philanthropist and community builder.

On this joyous occasion of your birthday, I join the good people of Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo and the entire Idoma nation in celebrating an irreplaceable elder statesman, Chief Mike Okibe Onoja, CON – the Akanaba K’Idoma and Agama Y’Agila, my father and uncle.

Sir, your guidance, wisdom and fatherly care have shaped my journey in profound ways. I remain deeply grateful for your support, including the generous financial contribution you made towards my campaign in the last election. Your belief in me strengthened my resolve to serve our people with dedication.

Your life remains a shining example of quiet excellence, integrity and selfless service. From the corridors of the Federal Ministry of Defence, where you served with distinction as Permanent Secretary, to your enduring contributions as a businessman, philanthropist and community builder, you have left indelible footprints on the sands of Benue and Nigeria.

Your popular saying that “blood is thicker than water” has continued to keep the nation of Agila as a strong cultural entity, united in purpose and identity. Your generosity continues to light up communities, empower the youth and inspire generations.
