BREAKING: Dangote Refinery reduces fuel price by N129
The Dangote Refinery has significantly reduced its ex-depot petrol price, positioning itself to compete aggressively with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and other fuel stations nationwide.
Petroleumpriceng Friday morning, noted that the refinery’s ex-depot price dropped from N828 to N699 per litre, a N129 (15.58%) reduction.
This latest adjustment is approximately the 20th price review of the year, coming just ahead of the busy Yuletide season.
The price revision by Dangote Refinery follows recent announcements from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company and various fuel stations, which had implemented at least two reductions in the past three weeks, bringing retail prices in Abuja to between N915 and N937 per litre.
Industry analysts say the move by Dangote Refinery is likely to intensify competition and could influence broader retail pricing ahead of the festive period.
