‘You’ll collapse, die’ – Wike warns politicians supporting betrayal
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has issued strong warnings and curses against politicians he accused of aligning with individuals who have betrayed him.
Wike made the remarks on Saturday in Port Harcourt during the commissioning of the Rivers State office of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
According to the former Rivers State governor, lawmakers and political office holders who lend support to acts of betrayal should expect to face similar treatment in their own political journeys. He warned that such actions would eventually return to haunt them.
He stated that when those politicians finally experience betrayal themselves, they would be unable to defend or explain their situation, adding that it would lead to their total downfall.
Wike said, “Whether you are a senator, House of Reps member, minister or governor, and you support betrayals, people will continue to betray you in life. Betrayal is your portion.
“The day you will be betrayed, you will not have mouth to say anything. There you will collapse and go and they will announce that so so person has died.
“That is the seed you have planted and whatever you plant, you will reap. Since you are planting betrayal, betrayal will follow you everywhere.
“Every governor who is doing the second tenure, governor who has ambition to put a successor and is supporting betrayal, you will never survive it.”
The FCT minister’s comments come amid ongoing political tensions, as he continues to criticize what he describes as disloyalty within the political class.
