Assembly race: Ogaragbo takes 2027 campaign to Ado LP executives

The Labour Party candidate for Ado State Constituency in the 2027 Benue State House of Assembly election, Nathaniel Ojoko Ogaragbo, has taken his campaign to the leadership of the party in Ado Local Government Area.

Ogaragbo met with members of the Labour Party Local Government Executive Committee on Sunday as part of consultations ahead of the general elections.

The meeting, led by the Ado LGA Chairman of the party, Josiah Owobi, also had other members of the executive committee and party stakeholders in attendance.

Discussions at the meeting centred on Ogaragbo’s candidature, the 2027 election and efforts to mobilise party members across the local government.

Speaking during the meeting, Owobi urged members of the party to support Ogaragbo’s bid for the Benue State House of Assembly.

He also expressed support for Philip Agbese, the member representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, who is seeking a second term.

Following the meeting, Owobi led Ogaragbo and other party stakeholders to Ikpomolokpo Community in Ogege Ward, where a new Labour Party unit was inaugurated and its officials introduced to members.

The delegation later visited the residence of the Ogege Ward Chairman of the party, Nicholas Orji, where members were gathered for activities marking the Jokah New Yam Festival.

The engagements are part of ongoing political activities by candidates and parties in Ado ahead of the 2027 general elections.
