BREAKING: INEC fails to upload results to IREV as results trickle in from FCT Council election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to upload results from the ongoing council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to its Result Viewing (IReV) portal, despite results already trickling in from several polling units.

Checks conducted by IDOMA VOICE on the commission’s official election result portal showed that no polling unit result had been uploaded as of the time of filing this report.

The delay comes amid growing public interest in the outcome of the elections across the six area councils, particularly in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), where collation has reportedly begun in some wards.

Meanwhile, results independently sighted by IDOMA VOICE from several polling units indicate that the chairmanship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Moses Paul, is maintaining an early lead in the AMAC chairmanship race.

INEC has yet to issue an official statement explaining the delay in uploading results to the IReV portal as voters, party agents and observers continue to monitor developments closely.
