2027: Amaechi submits ADC presidential nomination form

Rotimi Amaechi has officially submitted his presidential nomination form at the ADC national secretariat in Abuja, confirming his intention to contest in the 2027 election.

His declaration comes at a time of internal shifts within the party, marked by the departure of former presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to the NDC over lingering disputes.

Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, previously contested the presidency in 2023 under the APC but lost the party’s primary to Bola Tinubu.
