Deji Adeyanju Foundation unveils initiative to empower 50 Nigerian students
The Deji Adeyanju Foundation has unveiled its official website and announced an empowerment initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship and resources to establish sustainable businesses.
The programme, themed “Empowering the Next Generation of Nigerian Entrepreneurs,” will select 50 beneficiaries from tertiary institutions across Nigeria for its inaugural cohort.
The foundation was established by Abuja-based lawyer and civil rights advocate, Charles Deji Adeyanju, who is the founding partner of Deji Adeyanju & Partners.
According to the foundation, the initiative seeks to prepare young Nigerians to build viable businesses, develop their entrepreneurial abilities and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
The inaugural programme is scheduled to hold on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 3 p.m., while the venue will be communicated directly to successful applicants.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
The opportunity is open to Nigerian students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions who have an interest in entrepreneurship.
Students studying law and those in other academic disciplines are eligible to apply.
Applicants are expected to provide their full names, institutions, dates of birth and current cumulative grade point averages (CGPAs).
They must also submit evidence of studentship, such as a screenshot of their school portal, alongside a reference letter from their dean or head of department.
Interested candidates are required to complete their applications through the foundation’s official website, https://DejiAdeyanjuFoundation.org.
Applicants are to visit the applications page, select the available programme and upload the required documents in PDF, JPG, PNG or WEBP format, with each file not exceeding 5MB.
After completing and submitting the online form, applicants will receive an application reference number. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by phone or email.
Application Deadline and Benefits
The foundation said applications would close on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 9 a.m. West Africa Time (WAT).
It stressed that participation in the programme is entirely free, warning applicants against paying individuals or groups claiming to represent the foundation.
