Benue guber: Jime wins Ortom in Appeal Court

Apeal Court sitting in Makurdi today (26/07/2019) has ruled in favour of H.E. Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Jime, the APC Governorship Candidate in the 2019 Governorship Election in the state, and has ordered PDP & Mr. Samuel Ortom to pay the sum of N200,000 each to Rt. Hon. Jime and APC for wasting their time.

Recall that PDP (2nd Respondent) and Samuel Ortom (3rd Respondent) in the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal case filed by Rt. Hon. Jime (Petitioner), challenging the declaration of Mr. Samuel Ortom as the winner of the 2019 Governorship Election in the State, had filed an appeal on the ground that the honorable Tribunal has no jurisdiction to differ rulings on all applications/motions brought before it by the respondents (INEC, PDP and Ortom) respectively, till the day of final judgement.
