Oche receives CAN state leadership in Ado, sues for sustained collaboration to advance meaningful development
The Executive Chairman of Ado Local Government, James Oche has called for sustained relationship between the church and the political leadership in Ado Local Government as a way to genuinely carry the people along in the affairs of purposeful leadership.
Oche stated this last Friday while receiving the Benue State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Akpen Leva and other members of his entourage in Igumale, the administrative headquarters of Ado Local Government Area.
Oche who intimated the Clerics of the his determination to, in the upsurge of covid 19 cases in Benue State, strictly implement precautionary health regulations urged the church through CAN to conscientize the people on the need to be law abiding. He further expressed firm optimism that, a strong collaboration between the spiritual and political leadership of the people was best for meaningful development to thrive.
Reacting, the State CAN Chairman Pastor Akpen Leva who was accompanied by the State Secretary, Rev. Jonathan Ugbede and the CAN Zone C Coordinator, Johngrace Ochigbo as well as other officials expressed happiness with Oche’s readiness to partner CAN in advancing the welfare and the development of Ado, he enjoined the CAN Leadership at the Local Government to accord the highest cooperation to the Chairman to help him succeed with his people oriented efforts.
