Gospel music minister, Steve Edoh Olega, has denied having a hand in the death of veteran Idoma gospel singer, Evang. Peter Owoicho Otulu.

Evang. Otulu died on January 22, 2019 after battling stroke for years.

The singer bemoaned how he was asked not to attend the burial of Otulu due to the misunderstanding that ensued between them some years back.

IDOMA VOICE recalls that the music ministers had a misunderstanding few years back as both of them dished themselves in songs.

IDOMA VOICE observed that the singer said he was eager to join other sons of the veteran singer to pay him last tribute but he was prevented by some persons.

He admitted that although, there was a misunderstanding between him and the late singer but it was settled in Iga Okpaya by the bishop.

In a new song entitled Abo Kum Wenehe (My Hands Are Clean), Steve said he knows nothing about the demise of the singer.

“We settled our differences before bishop two years ago and my father (Otulu) embraced me amid tears and it all ended. It still baffles me that I was not given the opportunity to pay last respect to my father Otulu like I did for my biological father Edoh Olega and my brother John.

“We shall stand before God in heaven and will give account to the one who knows the heart of men.

“It hurts me. This song is not a tribute to Otulu yet. I will surely sing a tribute to my father at the right time.

“The late Otulu knows we had settled our differences before his demise and I am happy we settled out scores.

“I regretted everything that transpired between me and him but we settled it before he went home to rest.

“I am bothered again because we shall meet before our creator in heaven where the truth would be revealed.”

He warned those pointing accusing finger at him over the death of Otulu to desist.
