‘Late Benue lawyer, Ejeh Reuben was not abandoned’ – Source
Fresh facts have emerged over the death of fast-rising and intelligent lawyer, Jacobs Ejeh Reuben.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the young lawyer, who hailed from Ikpochi Itabono, in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State died after a long battle with brain tumor.
Contrary to the earlier report by that he could not raise the N1.5m needed for the operation, another family member has claimed that the money was raised but the operation failed.
The bereaved family member said the source who spoke with our reporter was wrong as the young man was not abandoned as he claimed.
“How could someone say Barr. Jacobs Ejeh Reuben was abandoned? That is totally misleading and wrong.
“I read the report earlier that he was abandoned or could not raise the money. Well, we don’t want to go into details on who gave money or not, but the truth is, the money was raised but the surgery failed twice.
“We can’t question God. May his soul rest in peace,” the lady said amid tears.
