Benue APC Chairmanship: Frontline contender, Onazi steps down, endorses Austin Agada ahead October 2nd Congresses
A Frontline aspirant to the office of the Benue State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Rt. Hon. Barr. Ochai Onazi, has endorsed the consensus candidate of the party, Comrade Austin Agada ahead of the October 2nd State Congresses of the party.
Onazi, a two term House of Assembly member represented Ado State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, stepped down his ambition for the office of the State Chairman of APC and immediately endorsed Comrade Austin Agada whom he described as his son, a capable hand in the unification project of the APC who shall lead the party to victory in 2023.
Onazi emphasized that, the Agada he know, would not only reclaim the governorship seat from the PDP which has thrown the state into poverty and under-development but shall ensure the victory of all flag bearers of the APC.
He insisted that, Agada has demonstrated capacity over the years and believes he would deliver the needed result beyond the imagination of members.
Onazi further called on all chairmanship aspirants of the party in Benue to follow his footsteps in endorsing unanimously the candidature of Comrade Austin Agada, the bridge between the elders and the youths.
Earlier, Comrade Austin Agada said he was in his house to seek his endorsement as a father and leader who he has learnt a lot from.
He promised to be fair to all, implement the manifesto of the party to the full and ensure victory at all level for the most dependable political party in Africa.
