Again, COVID-19 hits Real Madrid, takes on Coach Zidane

Barely two days after Spanish giant, Real Madrid annouced that defender Nacho Fernandez has tested positive for Covid-19, Madrid Manager, Zinedine Zidane, has also be confirmed to be down with the virus.

The Club confirmed this on their official website on Friday.

“Real Madrid C. F. report that our coach Zinedine Zidane has tested positive for COVID-19,” a statement on their website read.

Consequently, Zidane who will be isolating for the next couple of days, will miss Saturday’s La Liga tie against Alaves.

His assistant, David Bettoni, will be in charge of the team until the Frenchman is confirm to be medically fit.

Madrid were knocked out from the Copa del Rey by Alcoyano on Wednesday night.
