    • Joy Luga, the Commissioner for Cooperatives and Rural Development, disclosed this in Makurdi, emphasizing Governor Hyacinth Alia’s unwavering commitment to improving the living standards of women, enabling them to support their families effectively.
  • Warning on Katsina-Ala Bridge:

    • The Federal Road Safety Corps in Benue State has raised concerns about the potential collapse of the Katsina-Ala bridge. This is due to the continuous parking of trucks on the bridge by drivers.
    • Terngu Adagba, the Katsina-Ala Unit Commander of FRSC RS 4.23, expressed disappointment at the disregard for several warnings given to articulated truck drivers to refrain from using the bridge as a parking area.
