Benue: ‘What about Och’Idoma Palace?’ – Idoma community asks as Ortom splashes billions on new Tor Tiv Palace (Photos)
The people of Idoma community is currently asking why the Benue State government is splashing billions of naira on the palace of Tor Tiv but abandons the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo.
The questions arose following the visit of the state governor, Samuel Ortom to the site of the news palace.
The new Tor Tiv palace is jaw-dropping and can compete with any palace in the nation.
Raising the first poser was ace lawyer, Barr. Abbas Ochogwu, who called on the Idoma people to pick up the challenge and put their house together.
He wrote, “Governor Ortom of ‘Benuwe’ State inspects the multi-billion naira Tor Tiv Palace. This is a big challenge to all Idoma illustrious sons and daughters in various spheres of influence.
“The Och’idoma palace is in a very sorry dilapidated condition, and it is shameful that nobody is doing anything about it.”
