Bishop David Abioye set to donate ₦50m relief materials to Benue victims

The Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, founded by Bishop David Abioye, has announced plans to distribute relief materials worth ₦50 million to victims of recent attacks and displacement in Benue State.

Bishop Abioye made the announcement during a church service, revealing that the ministry had earlier carried out a similar humanitarian intervention in Plateau State in partnership with the umbrella body of Christians in Nigeria.

According to the cleric, the church distributed 2,000 packages of food items valued at about ₦50 million to affected residents in Plateau State.

“By the grace of God, we were able to provide 2,000 packages of food items costing us about ₦50 million. God took care of it, and a number of you gave. The Lord will honour you for it,” he said.

He disclosed that the church’s next intervention would be in Benue State, where another batch of relief materials worth ₦50 million would be presented to victims.

“Now, we are moving to Benue State where we will be presenting the next set of items costing another ₦50 million, and God will have you to be a part of it,” Abioye said.

The bishop encouraged members to support the outreach, adding that God’s work would continue regardless of who participates.

“The good thing about this is that if you are not, God will still find people to use,” he added.

The planned intervention comes amid growing humanitarian concerns following attacks in parts of Benue State that have left many residents displaced and in need of urgent assistance.
