BREAKING: Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo gets MBBS accreditation

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has approved (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), IDOMA VOICE can report.
 
The approval, which was confirmed by a staff member of the institution on Saturday, is also said to include authorisation for the training of House Officers at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Otukpo.
 
The development comes days after concerns and protests by MBBS students over accreditation issues affecting the programme and exclusively reported by Idoma Voice Newspaper.
