EXCLUSIVE: Pastor Dave Ogbole moves to unseat Abba Moro, picks NDC Senatorial forms in Benue South

Former Principal Special Assistant to ex-Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Strategic Investments, Pastor David Ogbole, has picked the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, expression of interest and nomination forms for the Benue South Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.

IDOMA VOICE exclusively gathered that the cleric and public speaker has also been successfully screened by the leadership of the party ahead of the primary election.

If he emerges as the party’s candidate, Ogbole is expected to battle the incumbent senator and Senate Minority Leader, Abba Moro of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Francis Ottah Agbo, and the African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate, David Olofu.

Speaking briefly with IDOMA VOICE, the outspoken cleric hinted at his determination to pursue what he described as a long-awaited vision for the people of Benue South.

“The future they told us many years ago is now, and the time is ripe for us to take our destiny into our own hands and redefine leadership in Benue South,” he said.
