Nkiru Onyejeocha – Abia
Education:
Graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka
Political Career: One of the longest-serving members of the House of Representatives until 2023. Elected in 2007 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and later defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2018. Served four terms in Nigeria’s Green Chamber until losing the 2023 election in Abia State.

Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye – Anambra
Affiliation: All Progressives Congress (APC)
Background: Legal practitioner and businesswoman based in Abuja.

Personal: Happily married with four children. Was briefly an APC presidential candidate before supporting President Bola Tinubu.

Dr. (Mrs.) Doris Aniche Uzoka – Imo
Previous Roles: Former Commissioner for Finance and Coordinating Economy, Imo State. Former General Manager of Zenith Bank Plc.

Background: Hails from Oguta LGA, Imo State. Has a strong professional and political affinity with Lagos due to her finance sector background. Known for her clean reputation.

Chief Uche Nnaji – Enugu
Party: All Progressives Congress (APC)
Background: Governorship candidate of APC in Enugu State, hailing from Akpugo in Nkanu West LGA.

Previous Role: In 1999, won the senatorial ticket of Alliance for Democracy (AD) but stepped down for Chief Jim Nwobodo who eventually won the senatorial district.

Family: Brother to Hon Nnoli Nnaji of Nkanu East and West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Ex-Governor David Umahi – Ebonyi

Governorship: Served two terms as Governor of Ebonyi State from 2015 to 2023.

Political Affiliation: Participated in the APC presidential primaries, where he ranked sixth in votes, won by President Bola Tinubu.

Additional: Faced legal battles before being recognized by INEC as the candidate for the district and later elected as a first-timer in the 10th Senate.
