Idoma governor: Benue youths rally to buy NDP governorship nomination form for AIG Inalegwu
The youth wing of Ochetoha K’Idoma Worldwide, the apex socio-cultural organisation of the Idoma people of Benue South, has urged retired AIG Wilson Inalegwu to contest for office and help pull the state back from the brink.
The group’s president, Comrade Mike Magaji, said Benue is underdeveloped and losing ground under the current administration. According to him, the only person with the experience and determination to rescue the state is AIG Inalegwu.
“His wealth of experience can put Benue back on the map,” Magaji said.
With insecurity still affecting communities across the state, the group argued that now is the time to bring in someone with a proven record in protecting lives and property. They believe AIG Inalegwu’s background in policing gives him the acumen needed to tackle the crisis head-on.
The youth group pledged to mobilise massively for him if he accepts, saying they are ready to purchase his NDP nomination form and run a grassroots campaign to ensure his victory at the polls.
