Insecurity: Alia Defence Intelligence what to do 

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has urged participants of Course 14 at the Advanced Defence Intelligence College, Abuja, to contribute their expertise by providing actionable intelligence reports to aid in the ongoing battle against insecurity.

The call came during a courtesy visit to the state capital, Makurdi, where the course participants were on a study tour of Benue State. Governor Alia emphasized the importance of robust and valuable interactions that could play a pivotal role in restoring peace to communities across Nigeria.

Expressing his deep concern, the governor lamented the toll inter-communal conflicts have taken over the years, resulting in the loss of numerous lives and the displacement of countless Benue indigenes from their ancestral homes.

Governor Alia urged the participants to collaborate closely with security agencies in Benue State to develop viable solutions to the root causes of inter-communal conflicts, not only within the state but also throughout Nigeria.

The governor’s appeal is part of the ongoing efforts to address the security challenges facing the nation. By leveraging the expertise and knowledge of the participants, the hope is to gather critical intelligence that can assist in the fight against insecurity and ultimately pave the way for lasting peace in the affected regions.
