Mane not used to Bundesliga, needs more time – Bayern Munich Director reveals

Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich sporting director has confessed that Sadio Mane still needs ‘time’ to get used to the Bundesliga. 

Recall that, Mane got off to a fast start with Bayern Munich, scoring three goals in his first three Bundesliga games. 

However, the Senegal international failed to score in his last five games, including two blanks in the Champions League before the international break. 

Salihamidzic has now revealed that he regularly speaks with Mane, who he described as one of the best players in the world. 

 Speaking on Mane’s situation at Bayern, Salihamidzic told Bild that, “Sadio still needs a bit of time. He has to get used to the Bundesliga, but he will, I speak regularly with him. 

“Sadio is one of the best players in the world, we will still have a lot of joy with him.”  He said.
