The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro has appealed to the good people of Benue South, especially the intermediate areas, to abide by the decision taken at the stakeholders’ meeting.

The Senator made this call at the stakeholders’ meeting at Double K Hotels, Otukpo, where he urged the people to adhere to the decision taken at the meeting, believing that it is God that enthrones leaders.

The Senator said the larger majority of Stakeholders at the meeting had agreed that the next Och’Idoma should come from APA/Agatu axis, and that it would not be nice if the axis fails to have a common ground to produce a candidate.

He reminded the gathering that there could be only one Och’Idoma at a time, and that the Paramount Ruler remains a symbol of the Idoma nation.

Senator Moro urged the people to do whatever would foster greater unity, bond and strength amongst the Idoma, which is now entrusted to the people of APA/Agatu.

In his words, ”Go home and make it happen. You have political, religious and military leaders who have been solving other people’s problems, I expect you to do same in this circumstance, as my prayers are with you.

“Bury your hatchet and come with a decision that other parts of Idoma will accept, and together we will present it to the Governor. The Former Senate President, Distinguished Senator David Mark, has urged us to have a consensus candidate since all the political leaders in Idoma are united and are speaking with one voice.”

He was optimistic that the Kingmakers would surely elect a man of impeccable character who can lead the Idoma nation to the desired destination.May be an image of 3 people and people standing
