Pastor Eliagwu Odogbo: Och’Idoma-elect gets his Certificate of Return
The Och’Idoma-elect, Pastor John Eliagwu Odogbo has received his certificate of return.
Dr. Odogbo will now mount the sacred throne of Idoma land following the journey of HRH Elias Ikoyi Obekpa to his ancestral home.
The new monarch pulled 19 of the 28 total votes cast to emerge the new paramount ruler of the Idoma nation.
Pastor Elaigwu, who pastors with Deeper Life, becomes the first Agatu to be elected as the Och’Idoma after defeating the likes of Arch Sonny Echono, Prof Armstrong Adejo, Chief Idakwo and others in a keenly contested election today in Otukpo.
Shortly after he was announced, a certificate Benue State Bureau Of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
The certificate reads, Certificate of Return ‘OCH’IDOMA’
This is to certify that JOHN ELAIGWU ODUGBO has been dully selected as the Och’Idoma. Having polled majority of the lawful votes casts of been unanimously chosen by selection committee.
