EPL: Hojlund was fantastic – Ten Hag

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag praised Rasmus Hojlund on his full debut in defeat to Brighton.

The Dane drew a blank on the day.

But Ten Hag remarked afterwards: “He came in with a little problem so we have to be careful, but the reception from the fans was fantastic.

“His match was fantastic and the fans embraced it.

“He was unlucky with the disallowed goal, because it had been a fantastic afternoon for him.

“It wasn’t supposed to go that way, but we will continue. He is a strong character, and we will probably fight back as a team.”
