Rivers crisis: What Wike told PDP governors about Fubara, Tinubu

New details have emerged from the highly-anticipated meeting between Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, shedding light on the discussions that transpired during the gathering.

Wike also declared that his visit to the Federal Capital Territory was aimed at assisting President Bola Tinubu in achieving his ambitious “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

He said, “I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also the PDP Governors’ Forum for stepping in to resolve the issues. It takes mature minds to be able to do that.”

The PDP Governors Forum was led by its chairman, Senator Bala Muhammed, who expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for appointing Minister Wike as the FCT minister. The chairman further commended President Tinubu’s dedicated efforts to mediate and resolve the political crisis in Rivers State.

Senator Muhammed, acknowledging Wike’s appointment as FCT Minister by President Tinubu, praised the president’s commendable bipartisan leadership style.
