2019: All is set for a free, fair, credible election – Mahmud Yakubu

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC professor Mahmud Yakubu has assured of the commissions readiness of conducting a free, fair and credible elections in 2019.
The INEC chairman who gave the assurance at a meeting with northern traditional rulers in Kaduna also allay fears that the commission is colluding with political parties to compromise the polls.

The meeting between the Northern traditional rulers and INEC is to discuss and chat a course for a violent free elections in 2019. Issues of insecurity, prosecution of electoral offenders as well as voters education top discussion.
