Benue APC Primaries result: Winners emerge for House of Representatives seats in Zones A, B [SEE LIST]
Winners have emerged in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary elections conducted across various federal constituencies in Benue State.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the primaries, which were held on Saturday across Zones A and B of the state, produced candidates who will fly the party’s flag in the 2027 general elections.
In Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency, wife of the SGF, Regina Akume emerged winner of the APC primary election.
Engr. Ikper secured victory in Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency, while Hon. Gideon Inyom emerged winner in Buruku Federal Constituency.
In Gwer East/Gwer West Federal Constituency, Engr. Terhemba Nongo clinched the party’s ticket after defeating other contenders in the exercise.
Prof. Kohol Iornem emerged victorious in Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency, while Solomon Wombo won the APC ticket for Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency.
Similarly, Chief Engr. Livinus Tsar emerged winner of the APC primary election in Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency.
The APC primaries in parts of the state were, however, marred by protests, allegations of irregularities and political tension in some constituencies.
