Idoma-born Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has narrowly escaped death after she was involved in a ghastly motorcycle accident while filming a movie in Lagos, just three days before her birthday.

The actress shared a video of the incident on her Instagram page on Wednesday, revealing the terrifying moment the accident occurred.

According to the footage, Oko was filming a scene on a motorcycle with her colleague, Victory Michael, who was riding the bike when it rammed into a pole at the movie location.

The impact left Victory Michael unconscious for a short period after he reportedly hit his chest against the pole, while Omeche sustained a fractured leg.

Fellow actors and members of the production crew immediately rushed the pair to an undisclosed medical facility, where they received treatment.

Reflecting on the incident, the actress described the experience as a close brush with death, saying the accident reminded her of how fragile life can be.

“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said no. If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you, God,” she wrote.

The incident has sparked concern among fans and colleagues, with many taking to social media to wish the actress and her co-star a speedy recovery while commending the film crew for their swift response.
