Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho named Premier League Player of the Month
Nigerian international and Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been named Premier League Player of the Month for March 2021.
He scored 5 goals in 3 matches in the month under review.
The Super Eagles striker beat other top contenders to clinched the award.
Meanwhile, IDOMA VOICE earlier reported that another Nigerian Leicester City star, Wilfred Ndidi, has been ranked as the 3rd Best Player in the Premier League and the 13th Best Player in the World from January to March 2021.
The ranking was done by CIES Football Observatory.
He has a rating of 85.5, after playing 852 minutes in the first quarter of 2021, behind Jorginho 1st with 89.5, and
Ruben Dias 2nd with 89.4, in the Premier League.
