An undergraduate student of the University of Benin identified as Olive Ize-Iyamu of the department of microbiology, has been declared missing.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that Ize-Iyamu has not been seen since she left home to deliver cooking services to a client who made the payment into her account.

Confirming the situation, Olive’s elder sister identified as Constance Ebonugwu told LindaIkejiblog that she last spoke to her on May 17.

Constance said Olive was in school the last day they spoke but couldn’t reach her days after that.

Worried, she reached her elder brother who also affirmed that he hadn’t heard from the UNIBEN student in the past 9 days.

She said; “When I spoke to her on Monday, she said she was in school. I came back from work on Tuesday, I tried calling her but it didn’t go through. I felt it was network issues. On Wednesday through till Sunday, I tried reaching her it didn’t go through. I became worried. I asked my older brother if he had heard from her, he said no and that he was trying to reach her but her number wasn’t going through.

“I said okay, no need for worry.”

The identity of her client wasn’t however given.

Efforts at getting the last call she received had proved abortive.

The family members have since lodged complaints at the police station but thought it necessary to make a social media outcry in a bid to employ all available means to ensure she is found.

They appealed to anyone with valuable information that could help the search to reach the number 08033212311.
