In a statement issued on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said the exercise will begin with the sale of nomination forms from May 5 to May 10, 2026.
According to the timetable, completed forms are to be submitted between May 11 and May 13, while screening of aspirants will hold from May 14 to May 15, 2026.
The party added that screening results will be published on May 17, with appeals scheduled for May 18 and May 19, 2026. The final list of cleared aspirants is expected on May 20.
Primary elections will begin on May 21, starting with State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senate primaries conducted simultaneously at the ward level.
Governorship primaries are slated for May 22, while the presidential primary will hold on May 25, 2026. A National Executive Committee meeting is scheduled for May 26, followed by a Special National Convention on May 27 for final ratification.
The ADC also announced its nomination fees structure: Senate tickets will cost N20 million, House of Representatives N10 million, and State House of Assembly N3 million.
However, the party introduced concessions, offering a 50 percent discount for youths and a 25 percent discount for women and persons with disabilities.
The party said the timetable reflects its commitment to internal democracy, orderliness, and compliance with electoral guidelines, urging all aspirants and stakeholders to adhere strictly to the schedule.
