Lagos: Police arrest 25-year-old with fresh human parts over alleged money ritual

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, identified as Samson Oghenebreme, for being in possession of fresh human organs in the Odomola community, Epe Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the suspect was apprehended by officers from the Odo-Noforija Police Division after residents raised concerns over his suspicious movements.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Oghenebreme was allegedly transporting the organs to Edo State, where he intended to deliver them to a native doctor for use in suspected money-making rituals.
The recovered body parts have been deposited at the General Hospital in Epe for preservation, while the case has been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, reassured the public of the Command’s resolve to protect lives and property, and urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
