1. Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has boasted that nothing will stop its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from winning. The council also bragged that Tinubu would win and send the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to Dubai.

2. President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria, following a “routine medical check-up,” in London, UK. Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, announced this in a tweet on Sunday evening.

3. Gov Samuel Ortom on Sunday, November 13th, 2022 attended the investiture of Oliver Aba as Prelate of the Methodist Church, Nigeria. The ceremony which took place at the Methodist Church of the Trinity, Tinubu, Lagos also had the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi in attendance.

4. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) donated N40 million to flood victims in Edo on Sunday.

Speaking on Saturday at the burial ceremony of Grace Akeredolu, mother of Rotimi Akeredolu, governor of Ondo, in Owo, Tinubu said the APC would do better to improve the lives of Nigerians.

7. The Shura Council of the Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP) has banned naira as a means of transaction for the illegal tax it collects from peasant farmers and fishermen. This is a result of the Nigerian government’s move to redesign and reissue higher denominations of its currency.

8. Ten days after he was declared wanted, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested fleeing Lagos socialite and owner of Adekaz Hotels, Alhaji Ademola Afolabi Kazeem (a.k.a Alhaji Abdallah Kazeem Muhammed) over offences bordering on exportation and trafficking of illicit drugs as well as money laundering.
