Chelsea forward Liam Delap has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League side Nottingham Forest ahead of the close of the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, Forest remain interested in signing the 23-year-old after failing to secure his signature before his move to Chelsea.

The report said the club has monitored Delap for some time and has revived its interest following his first season at Stamford Bridge.

New Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner is also believed to be a strong admirer of the former Ipswich Town striker.

Forest are reportedly looking to strengthen their attack with a powerful and quick forward capable of scoring regularly to provide support for Chris Wood during the 2026/27 campaign.

Delap joined Chelsea in 2025 but has yet to fully establish himself in the team. It remains unclear whether the Blues, now managed by Xabi Alonso, will be willing to let the striker leave this summer.
