Sen Abba Moro inspects, okays work at University of Health Sciences Otukpo take off site (Photos)

The Senator representing Benue South District, Comr Patrick Abba Moro has expressed satisfaction with the progress of work at the take off site of the University of Health Sciences, Otada, Otukpo, Benue State.

 

The Vice-Chairman Senate Committee on Army and Inter-Parliamentary Affairs who visited the Otada temporary site of the institution yesterday said it was sacrosanct that the contractors speed up work so as to ensure that the planned academic calendar of the school is not distorted.

 

Sen. Moro who was accompanied by Ado Local Government Executive Chairman, James Oche and other political and opinion leaders further promised to sustain collaborative efforts with the Executive and other stakeholders to ensure sustained funding for the project.

Site Engineer, Abba Shamkuna said work was in top speed and assured that, with adequate funding, they would meet the target deadline.

 

On his part, Ado Local Government Chairman, James Oche has also expressed pleasure with the work and the commitment accorded the project by the senator. He said, Sen Moro was committed to the welfare of his people and the development of the constituency.

Works at the site near completion included the administrative structures, the lecture halls and theatres, the hostels and the university hospital.

 

Others who accompanied the Senator on the inspection were Comrade David Ekwo, Hon. Andrew Ugbala, Chief Obande Attah, Hon Abraham Ochoga and the Otada youth leader Hon. Gabriel Iduh.
