The anticipated international friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and world champions, Argentina, is set to take place at the Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium in China.

Originally scheduled for Japan, the encounter has been relocated to the Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium, with the specific date in March yet to be determined.

The Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium, also known as the Aoti Main Stadium, boasts a capacity of 80,012, making it the second-largest stadium in China in terms of seating capacity.

Constructed in 2001, it serves as a multi-purpose stadium and will host the clash between the Super Eagles and Argentina.

The friendly match is crucial for the Super Eagles as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup double-header against South Africa and Benin Republic in June.
