Transfer: Deivid Washington joins Chelsea from Santos
Chelsea Football Club have officially confirmed the signing of 18-year-old Brazilian talent Deivid Washington from Santos for a fee of €20 million.
The young forward, who has garnered considerable attention, has committed to a seven-year contract with the Blues, binding him to the club until 2030. The agreement further incorporates the possibility of extending for an additional year.
Washington’s prominence in the Brazilian league as one of its most promising prospects solidifies his status as a player of immense potential.
He will join fellow countrymen Angelo Gabriel and Andrey Santos at Chelsea, who had previously joined the club from Vasco da Gama and Santos, respectively.
Washington initiated his senior career with Santos in April, marking his debut in the team’s resounding 3-0 Serie A victory against Bahia.
