2023: APC youth leader under fire for saying Nigerians must vote Tinubu
The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dayo Israel, has come under fire over his comment that Nigerians must vote for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in 2023.
Dayo had in a tweet boasted that Tinubu will emerge president in 2023 either Nigerians like it or not.
He tweeted, “YOUR EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL AND INSULTS WILL NOT WORK – TINUBU WILL BE YOUR PRESIDENT EITHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. GOOD MORNING FROM BATIFIED HQ.”
Reacting, popular comedian and activist, Debo Adedayo, aka Mr Macaroni, said Dayo’s comment is a clear indication APC wants to impose Tinubu on Nigerians.
He said, “The Youth Leader of APC telling Nigerians that they do not have a choice in the 2023 Elections! Are we still in a democracy?? Are you telling us that you will use force to decide the Elections?
“Well, I have a choice and I will Vote Peter Obi come 2023!! Enough of the Threats!!”
