Borno State Finance Commissioner, Ahmed Ali is dead

Borno State’s Commissioner for Finance, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, has passed away.

Details surrounding his death remain unclear, but sources close to the situation reported that he was found deceased in his room on Monday morning. According to these sources, Ahmed did not emerge at his usual time, prompting others to force open his door, where his body was discovered.

The source confirmed the news to Daily Trust, stating, “Oga is no more; he died early this morning.”

This loss marks the second cabinet member Governor Babagana Zulum has lost within the past year.
