Abba Moro congratulates factional Benue PDP EXCO led by Ezekiel Adaji

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro PhD has congratulated the factional Benue State Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by The Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji-led.

The Rt. Hon. Ezekiel Adaji-led EXCO was elected on Thursday in a separate state congress of the party, which held at Sese Event Centre, Makurdi.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Adaba Chris Abah was also elected as chairman in a separate convection.

In a statement by his media aide, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, Senator Moro urged the Adaji-led EXCO to work and strengthen the party and adequately prepare it for future elections. He enjoins them to lead right and ensure that all members are carried along in the party’s activities.

The Senate Minority Leader urged aggrieved party members to sheathe their swords and join hands with the State EXCO to put the party on its winning ways.

He said, “The senator commends the National Executive Council of the party under the leadership of Amb. Illiya Damagun for the peaceful resolution of the leadership impasse in Benue PDP. He also appreciates the Senator (AVM) Napoleon Bali-led caretaker committee that has been up and doing in seeing to the successful completion of all the party’s congresses and eventual emergence of the new EXCO in the state.

“He assures of his total commitment to PDP and pledges his unalloyed support for the newly-elected EXCO to succeed.
