Idoma-born Samuel Echogbu bags First Class from ABU Zaria, graduates as best engineering student with 4.87 CGPA

An Idoma-son, Samuel Echogbu, made her family and the entire Benue State proud after bagging First Class in Engineering from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with 4.87 Cumulative Grade Point Average.

He also graduated as the best student of the department.

His friend, Williams Jimisim wrote, “Being a humble student and bright kid that he is, his success story need to be heard. Perhaps, we can bring this to the notice of the Governor and the Senator representing him. I have followed this genius from his first year in the University.”

It was gathered that his name was even omitted from the list of those to be given award until some students stood up for him.
