Nwabali saves two penalties as Super Eagles clinch AFCON 2025 bronze
Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali emerged as the hero, stopping two penalties to help the Super Eagles secure a 2-4 victory over Egypt and claim the bronze medal at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The match remained goalless through 90 minutes, sending it to a penalty shootout.
Nwabali denied attempts from Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush, sealing the win for Nigeria.
