Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign French winger Bradley Barcola in a major transfer deal.
The agreement is understood to include an initial fee of £100 million, with additional performance-related payments potentially taking the total package to around €140 million.
Barcola is expected to sign a long-term contract with Liverpool, with the two clubs reportedly set to exchange the final documents ahead of the completion of the transfer.
The 23-year-old winger has been a major target for Liverpool throughout the summer as the Premier League club look to strengthen their attacking options.
Reports indicate that Barcola’s desire to move to Anfield played a significant role in the negotiations, despite PSG previously maintaining that the France international was not available for transfer.
Liverpool’s interest in the player intensified after the club identified him as a priority attacking target, while Barcola is understood to have been keen on the move.
The deal would make Barcola one of Liverpool’s most expensive signings and represents a major investment in their attacking squad.
Recent reports have put the agreed package at around £120 million, with the final value dependent on add-ons.
Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 and has established himself as an important attacking player for the French champions. He has also been linked with other major European clubs, including Arsenal, during the summer transfer window.
If the final paperwork is completed as expected, Barcola will become the latest major addition to Liverpool’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
